Warming Up at Cross-Country Race II
The second round of cross-country racing took place at the Ulster University, Coleraine on a very challenging course. The level of competition was higher than in the previous round but we still managed to register strong individual performances (3rd in the girls’ race and 4th in the boys’ race).
The real strength of our performance though was in our team running. We were second overall in the girls' race and fourth in the boys' race. The boys in particular raised their game, having benefited from the experience they gained in the previous round. There were also strong performances from the Y6 boys and girls. who are growing into their role in the school cross-country team.
Thank-you again to the fantastic parental support. Next up round 3 in Limavady in January.
