Two teams from Mary Queen of Peace represented the Ballymena district as winners of their respective competitions in the local Credit Union heats. Both teams progressed to the regional Chapter Finals (winning teams from local competitions in Co. Derry, Co. Antrim, Co. Tyrone), which were staged in Ballymena this year.
Congratulations to both quiz teams who performed really well in the regional competition. Our Competition A team were second and narrowly missed out on a place in the All-Ireland Finals, after a tie breaker. Competition B team were also second and they won their tie breaker and will now go to the All-Ireland Finals in Dublin at Easter time. Well done.
