P4 Celebrate Chinese New Year 2022
1st February 2022
Primary 4 have been celebrating the Chinese New Year (the Year of the Tiger).
Everyone wore red and solved Chinese puzzles, explored the Chinese Zodiac and even enjoyed a fortune cookie.
The children love learning through themes.
We use themes to teach the children literacy, numeracy and ICT; as well as developing the wider curriculum, including The Arts & PE. Themes also help promote Personal Development & Mutual Understanding (PDMU). The Chinese New Year theme helps the children understand about other traditions and our similarities, as well as differences. It is a fun way to learn and the children love this style of learning
Enjoy the P4 photos.
