28th April 2023

The Kingdom of Cargan was full of excitement on Friday 28 April as Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, Brave Knights and Fearsome Dragons all came together from far away lands to enjoy Castles’ Day.

The pupils began their day in our armour workshop where they each got to design and decorate their own protective shield.

Then the children used their artistic skills to create a colourful crown embellished with Crown Jewels fit for the most noble Royal.

It was now time to set off on a journey to a far off land where our royal photographer captured some portraits as a memory of our special day together.

Having had some light refreshments everyone was ready to gather in the courtyard to take part in fun outdoor activities and learn some new skills to increase our strength and agility. Every Knight, Princess, King, Prince, and Dragon thoroughly enjoyed these vigorous games.

There was not much time to rest before everyone used their vast knowledge of castles and 2D shapes to design and draw a castle picture before enjoying a banquet lunch.

Following the royal feast all the visitors gathered in the ballroom to enjoy a castle celebration party of treats and fun before saying their goodbyes and making their way home with happy memories from a special day.

Enjoy the show.
