Castle Cargan

Primary 2 have been learning all about castles this term through their play, literacy, ICT and maths curriculum.  To celebrate the end of the theme the children had a special dressing up day when everyone turned up in costume. 

Queen McConway and her lady in waiting (Lady Mary) were delighted to welcome one and all to Castle Cargan which was filled with gallant Glenravel knights, beautiful princesses from all across the Glen, jesters (and there are a few in this kingdom!) and even a dragon (perhaps it was from the old iron ore mine).
