Camogie: SW Antrim Champions

Today, our Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Camogie team took part in the South-West Antrim competition in the Antrim Forum. Nine schools were involved and we were unbeaten as we moved through the group stages.
A cup quarter final was next on the agenda against Millquarter PS. The girls, revived after a quick lunch, came out determined and won the tie well. In the semi-final, against Creggan PS, the girls worked as a team and were really getting into the swing of things, winning convincingly. A final against St Mary's PS, Portglenone was our last job of the day. The girls kept their best camogie until the final and were fantastic. Every player worked hard and Mary Queen of Peace were deserving winners. In the process, retaining the SW Antrim title having also won it last year.
