Ballymena Fire Brigade Visit Primary 5

2nd April 2025

Primary 5 were absolutely chuffed to have a great talk on fire safety from Eammon, Marty, and Richie from Ballymena Fire Brigade! The session was not just informative but also super engaging. The pupils were all ears as they found out about the dangers of fire and how important it is for all of us to help prevent them.

There were loads of fantastic questions thrown out by the class, showing just how keen they were to learn. Eammon, Marty, and Richie did a brilliant job answering everything, making it easy to understand and really relevant to the pupils' everyday lives.

The best bit of the visit was when we went outside to check out the fire engine. Seeing that big red truck up close was fantastic, and when the sirens went off, the children's faces lit up with excitement! It was a memorable day packed with learning and fun. A huge thank you to the fire brigade for taking the time to talk to our children about fire safety. Primary 5 will remember what they learned for a long time!
