Anti-Bullying Week: Together We Are Stronger
23rd November 2016
This year’s theme for Anti-Bullying week was Together We Are Stronger (14-18 November 2016).
The children worked together on anti-bullying lessons during their literacy, art, Circle Time and religion classes:
Foundation Stage: good and bad behaviours in friendships;
Y3: diversity in the classroom and working with partners;
Y4: Sammy’s Shoes, bullying as a result of special needs;
Y5: the qualities of a good friend;
Y6: hurtful behaviour and the impact on people’s emotions;
Y7: saying positive things to each other.
Primary 7 also performed a very powerful Anti-Bullying Pupil of the Month Assembly for the whole school (this can be found in the Gallery section of the website, then click videos. It is well worth a view).
It is important that the anti-bullying message is also shared with our parents and we will update you, through the website, about the work your child did during Anti-Bullying Week.
