Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying

17th November 2023

Share:

Anti-Bullying Week 2023 is coordinated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This year the theme was 'Make A Noise About Bullying'.

The week kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November, where adults and children wore odd socks to school to celebrate what makes us all unique.

Throughout the week all the children in MQP engaged in a range of activities to understand what ‘bullying’ means and how it can make people feel.

They have been discussing the importance of being a kind friend, looking out for our friends and some have even sent kind messages to other children in their class.

The children also discussed who they can talk to if they have any concerns or worries and know that by making a noise they will be heard.

A Parent Guide is attached from the ABSIT (Addressing Bullying Schools Implementation Team) with some more information.
