Accelerated Reader

We have finished our second year of Accelerated Reader (AR) and it has been another wonderful year:

• 3,505 books read;

• 35,243,844 word read;

• 94% of the tests passed (after a child reads a book they then take an on-line quiz and must achieve a minimum of 85% in their test);

• 8 AR millionaires (the latest millionaires are pictured with Mrs McKeown, well done).

Congratulations to all our pupils who achieved their personal AR targets and were rewarded with a token for an ice-cream in Donnelly’s (our sponsor’s support is very much appreciated).

Remember to return your AR books so that we can get everything ready for a fresh start in September.
