P7 Visit Titanic

9th March 2023

Share:

Primary 7 met up with their Camphill friends at the Titanic Visitor Centre today. It was a great opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life.

The visitor centre had been closed for 8 weeks prior to our visit, so we were very fortunate to be able to see the new exhibits on show.

The children visited 10 galleries, all of which provided information on different parts of the Titanic's story.

We also had the chance to get onboard the Nomadic ship, the last remaining ship to be built by The White Star Line company.

A walk down the slipway helped us to visualise the true size of this wonderful ship, the Titanic!

It was great to experience this with our friends from Camphill who are also studying the Titanic story.

We will meet again with Camphill on the 21st March, our final meet up for this year.

Enjoy the photos.
