P6 on their Autumn Nature Walk

10th November 2021

P6 went off on our Autumn Nature Walk in the area around Martinstown today to look at trees we commonly find in our area and discover how we can identify them by their leaves.

We also measured the circumference of the trees to help us see if we can work out their approximate age and took a bark rubbing to see how trees are different.

We had a great adventure and learned lots about the countryside we live in, we even had a hunt for salmon, otters and kingfishers, but they must have been hiding today!
